A man was yesterday remanded to prison on a charge that he trafficked four Venezuelan nationals.
Kenneth Simmons was brought before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in Georgetown, where the charge was read against him during an in-camera hearing.
The charge alleged that Simmons trafficked the Venezuelan nationals on November 3.
Simmons was remanded to prison and Chief Magistrate McLennan adjourned the matter until November 15, when it will be heard at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court.
