President of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Wayne Forde said he is pleased with the current work being conducted for phase one of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) Forward Project.
Forde during a visit Monday to the Providence Community Centre, the site for the GFF’s National Training Centre, declared: “The Executive Committee is pleased with the works underway at the GFF National Training Centre.”
The first phase of the long overdue project will see the construction of the artificial turf by Netherlands-based Greenfields, a manufacturer of artificial turf. Other aspects of the facility will include dormitories, kitchen services, a gym and a pool.
