(Trinidad Express) A Marabella man was stabbed to death on Friday by his neighbour, an outpatient of the mental hospital.
Deceased Anderson Babwah was stabbed at least five times and died at hospital.
Babwah, 24, was killed on the street he lived at New Haven Avenue.
At around 8 a.m. Babwah and the suspect, a 22 year old man, were seen arguing in the street. Police were told that Babwah often provided meals for the suspect but did not that day. Police believe that the suspect used a knife to repeatedly stab Babwah in his upper body and chest.
The suspect ran off.
Babwah died while receiving treatment at the San Fernando General Hospital.
Police returned to the crime scene and arrested the suspect who left the St Ann’s Hospital two weeks ago. The murder weapon has not yet been found.
And in an unrelated incident, a 33 year old man was gunned down at his Morvant home on Friday. Kevin Baptiste was shot multiple times at his Cipriani Avenue home.
