St. Pius recorded the largest margin of victory to date in the Smalta Girls U11 football competition swamping Tucville 8-0 yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Kerry Boyce recorded a helmet-trick in the first, fifth, 13th and 28th minute while Breann Solome added a hat-trick in the ninth, 24th and 30th minute.
Adding a 26th minute conversion was Akesha Sibdhanie. Similarly, West Ruimveldt crushed Stella Maris 4-0. Akila Smith tallied a helmet-trick in the 18th, 20th, 25th and 29th minute.
Also, North Georgetown brushed aside Redeemer 3-0. Jada Maison bagged a brace in the 10th and 20th minute while Ameza English netted in the 11th minute.
In other results, F.E. Pollard downed South Ruimveldt 2-0. Shania Lord and Ciara Fraser scored in the 26th and 30th minute apiece.
St. Angela’s defeated School of the Nation’s via walkover. Meanwhile, the scheduled clash between Sophia and Enterprise was deemed a no contest, as both teams failed to take the playing area.
