(BBC) Madame Tussauds has debuted in Delhi, with 50 wax models of Indian and international celebrities.
Waxworks of Bolly-wood actors, sports stars, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and father of the Indian nation Mahatma Gandhi are on display at the museum.
The museum is located in the historic Regal building in Connaught Place.
Entry to the museum, however, is steep – 960 rupees ($15; £11) for adults and 760 rupees ($12; $9) for children up to 11 years.
The Delhi centre is the 23rd museum for Madame Tussauds which has centres in major cities across the globe, including London, Washington, New York, Amsterdam, Berlin, Bangkok, Tokyo and Beijing.
The museum was opened to the public on Friday.
