Dear Editor,
I believe my conscience will be disturbed if I do not thank this government for the increase of $500 on my senior citizen’s pension.
After 50 years of service in the education system, I have to be content with whatever state I am in, and I have assured myself that the amount given is significant in the context that it is 500 dollars above zero dollars. My dignity as a husband and father and past servant to this nation was enhanced, as I declared this increase to members of my family.
May God continue to bless our government as it offers the aged a means of survival through adequate financial assistance as it has done in Budget 2018.
