Dear Editor,
It has been reported that Guyana’s President David Granger is in Kenya telling people to put people before profits. Yet, with the sacking of thousands of people the APNU+AFC government is clearly doing the opposite; that is, they are putting profits before people.
Clearly, President Granger is way off the mark when he believes that sacking people to save a little bit of money is going to benefit Guyanese. So, where is the benefit to Guyanese? A bloated public service?
