The family of a 73-year-old man, who suffers from Alzhei-mer’s disease, is seeking the public’s help to find him after he wandered away from home.
According to relatives, Michael Khan, also known as Mohamed Khan, has been missing since December 2, when he wandered away from the Lot 319 Independence Boule-vard, La Penitence residence he shares with his daughter and granddaughter.
It is the first time Khan has wandered off since being diagnosed with the disease a short while ago.
Based on reports received by the family, he was seen along the University of Guyana road and subsequently at the access road leading to the Giftland Mall. However, relatives could not find him when they visited the locations.
Khan was last seen wearing a pair of black short pants and a striped, cream coloured shirt.
