NK Ballers will battle Silver Bullets, while Hard-knocks will oppose Spaniards in the semi-final round of the New Era Entertainment/Mohamed Enterprise Futsal Championship, following quarterfinal wins on Thursday.
Staged at the Mackenzie Sports Club (MSC) Hard-court, Linden, NK Ballers cracked Nutman All-Stars 7-6, in front of a sizeable crowd. Joel McKinnon and Donovan Francis scored respective doubles in the win.
They were supported by goals from Keon Sears, Kenard Simon and Jermaine Grandison.
For the loser, Tyric McAllister recorded a hat-trick, while Romain Adams, Andre Mayers and Stephon Tappin scored one goal apiece.
On the other hand, Silver Bullets riddled Customs 13-10. Damion Williams tallied a helmet-trick in the victory, while Jamaine Samuels registered a hat-trick.
Chipping in with two goals respectively were Robin Adams and Deshawn Joseph, while Clifton Alley and Kellon Major netted once each.
On the other side, Roberto Osbourne, Frank Gordon and Travis Martin scored two goals each, whist Travis Grant, Shawn Marshall, Menul Lee and Christopher Barnwell netted once.
Meanwhile, Spaniards squeaked past tourney favourite Swag Entertainment 5-4. Darren Benjamin bagged a brace for the Georgetown based unit. He was assisted by siblings Kenneth and Benjamin Opara, as well as Curtez Kellman, who each scored one goal.
For the losing Lindeners, Colwyn Drakes scored a hat-trick, while Shane Luckie netted once.
Similarly, Hard-knocks/Board Money bested Goodfellas 7-6. Dexroy Adams scored four times to lead his side to victory, while Clive Nobrega tallied a brace.
Scoring once was Randy Small. For Goodfellas, Deshawn Joseph battled to a hat-trick, while Mark McLean scored twice and Omerion Wills netted once.
The respective victors will now faceoff on the Friday 22nd December at the same venue. The grand finale is scheduled for Tuesday December 26th.
