The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) remained unchanged during the first period of trading in January 2018. The stocks of three companies were traded with 38,419 shares changing hands. There were no Climbers and no Tumblers. The stocks of the Demerara Distilleries Limited (DDL), the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) and Republic Bank Limited (RBL) remained unchanged on the sale of 23,334, 9,720 and 5,365 shares respectively.
