A father of two lost his life on Wednesday afternoon in full view of his two sons after he was struck to his head by a falling tree branch at Supenaam Creek, in Region Two.
Brimsley Jeffrey, 51 of Bethany Village, Supenaam Creek, sustained massive head injuries due to the impact of the blow and he was later pronounced dead on arrival at the Suddie Hospital.
According to the police, the incident occurred while Jeffrey was cutting forest wood.
Despite the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, the police are awaiting the findings of an autopsy before closing the case.
