This Toyota Raum PLL 6539 (left) last night crashed into a truck GLL 7434 after a white Toyota Premio PRR 1949 overtook it at the junction of the Demerara Harbour Bridge at Peters Hall. Eye witnesses told Stabroek News that both cars were travelling in the northern direction when motor car PRR 1949 overtook another car and veered into the path of the Raum that was allegedly speeding. As a result the two cars collided. After colliding with PRR 1949, the Toyota Raum crashed into GLL 7434 which was making a turn at the intersection. Police arrived promptly on the scene and the motor vehicles were removed from the junction allowing traffic to return to normalcy.
