Government has awarded a $78.9 million contract for the construction of a roundabout at this junction, just south of the Kitty Seawall, near the intersection of Vlissengen Road and Kitty Public Road. The roundabout is expected to improve the flow of traffic in the area but up to yesterday motorists were most concerned about the uncovered manhole and protruding pipe, which pose a danger, especially at night.
