Richard Daly, who was accused of forging a cheque for $820,000, was placed on bail last Friday after denying the charge. It was alleged that Daly, 53, on December 15th, 2017, at Georgetown, with intent to commit fraud, forged a Citizens Bank Guyana cheque for the sum of $820,000, in favour of himself.
The prosecutor made no objections to bail and Georgetown Magistrate Leron Daly granted the man $100,000 bail and adjourned the matter until February 16th.
