Last year’s runners-up Morgan Learning Centre (MLC), Christianburg/Wismar and Ann’s Grove clinched lopsided wins when the sixth Milo Schools Football Championship continued yesterday.
Staged at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue, MLC humbled School of the Nation’s 13-0.
Koby Durant recorded a hat-trick in the 10th, 26th and 36th minute while Dorwin George bagged a double in the third and 46th minute and Nixon Robertson scored twice in the 55th and 64th minute.
Adding solitary strikes were Wellington DosSantos, Adrian Adelph, Randy Roberts, Ryan Dowding and Rueben Miller in the 12th, 13th, 18th, 42nd and 65th minute respectively.
An own goal added to the win in the 61st minute. Similarly, Christianburg/
Wismar crushed Vergenoegen 11-0. Andre Mayers registered a helmet trick in the 16th, 27th, 30th and 50th minute.
Mickel Adams chipped in with a brace in the third and 10th minute, while Brentley Allicock fashioned a double in the ninth and 42nd minute.
Supporting were Randy Pickering, Akeem Caesar and Hirani Gilkes via goals in the 21st, 43rd and 73rd minute apiece. Meanwhile, Annandale Secondary downed Friendship 4-1.
Troni Semple tallied a brace in the 27th and 41st minute, while Trevor Fiffee and Omar Glasgow scored in the 19th and 33rd minute each.
For the losing team, Marlon Hyman netted in the third minute. The event continues on Saturday at the same venue.
