Contractor Noble Corporation, which is expected to start drilling wells for ExxonMobil’s Liza Phase 1 development offshore Guyana, is currently advertising for catering crews.
According to a recent advertisement, placed through JSL International Guyana Inc, the Noble Bob Douglas drill ship, which was contracted for a three-year period, is expected to start drilling wells in the first half of this year.
Among the positions that are being advertised are gallery hand, baker, daily cooks and utility hand.
Established in 2008, the JSL International “Group of Companies” currently operates in over 12 countries, with the Corporate Headquarters located in Houston, Texas, USA.
At present, JSL is working to execute its local content strategy in Guyana, which as Stabroek News understands involves training and developing Guyanese nationals in order to build the required competency for them to hold offshore positions within the oil and gas sector on Drilling Rigs and Floating Production, Storage and Offloading Vessels.
