Horse owners have already begun salivating about the potential prospects of winning the mouth-watering bounty up for grabs during the inaugural Triple Crown Series.
They are confidently preparing their thoroughbreds and boasting of cashing in during the lucrative event.
Ready to Romance owned by Kris Jagdeo and Party Time owned by Jason DeMattos are two champion race horses which will perhaps enable their owners to cash cheques when the series gets underway on February 18 at the Rising Sun Turf Club.
The two horses are set to go head-to-head in the J Class races.
Jagdeo said his steed has matured in leaps and bounds and he is very confident that his horse will win all three events and pocket the mega bonus as well.
Party Time won the first million-dollar race for locally bred horses and its owner echoed similar confident sentiments about making an indelible mark during the series.
With 21 races, three race days and 20 million dollars on the line, horse racing in the 592 will be taken to new heights.
The second leg will be staged on March 2 at the same venue, while the finale will run off on Easter Sunday (April 1) at the Port Mourant Turf Club.
On the racing days, the C Class, 1200m event with a bounty of $1M will be the main attraction.
