For some people the Caribbean is a lovely workplace, so I could understand why Mr Pybus would want to return to the WIBC so soon after his departure. I have also noted how little has been heard from Mr Adams in the last several months. Now, Mr Pybus may well be the genius administrator that West Indies cricket badly needs for its resurgence, but it does seem to me that West Indian cricket fans and those businesses that invest in West Indies cricket are entitled to know what exactly Mr Pybus brings that is of such value as would justify his re-employment after such a short period. Without the explanation the thing ‘smells to high heaven’ (I believe is the expression).
