Three time defending champion Chase Academy and Annandale maintained their unbeaten records, when the Sixth Annual Milo Secondary School Football Championship continued on Monday.
Staged at the Ministry of Education Ground, Carifesta Avenue, Chase Academy dismantled Friendship 6-1.
Ronaldo Rodriguez tallied a double in the 29th and 30th minute, while Jeremy Garrett, Stephon Reynolds, Rondel Peters and Keane Lawrence, scored in the 11th, 37th, 55th and 68th minute, respectively. On the target in the loss was Jamal Scott in the 61st minute.
Similarly, Annandale swamped Carmel 10-1. Omari Glasgow led the assault with a helmet-trick in the 14th, 31st, 42nd and 46th minute. He was assisted by Troni Semple, who bagged a brace in the 23rd and 25th minute, and Jemar Robinson, who also netted twice in the 11th and 59th minute.
Adding goals in the fifth and 29th minute, respectively, were Marick Alli and Trevor Fifee. For the loser, Darren Niles scored in the 63rd minute.
Business School downed South Ruimveldt 2-0. Akeem Lewis scored in the sixth minute, while an own goal in the 61st minute completed the result.
The event continues today at the same venue with another triple-header. At 16:00hrs, St. Roses High battles Uitvlugt, while Buxton Youth Developers tackle Charlestown from 17:30hrs.
The final fixture will pit Lodge Secondary against Queenstown Secondary at 19:00hrs.
