The police yesterday recovered a quantity of suspected stolen articles from a car which was intercepted on the Soesdyke Public Road at around 1.40 pm.
Among the items found were an electrical saw, six block-making and spindle mouldings and a water pump engine.
The Police said ranks were at the time investigating a breakage of a storeroom owned by a 50-year-old Timehri Base Road, EBD resident, when the car was intercepted.
They have since arrested the driver, 24 of Kuru Kururu, Soesdyke/Linden Highway and a 22-year-old Soesdyke resident who was an occupant of the vehicle.
