Another man was yesterday remanded to prison for robbing a pastor of $1.8 million in November, 2017.
The charge stated that Mark Prince on November 22nd, 2017, armed with a gun in the company of others robbed Eldon Anderson of $1,800,000 cash.
The man pleaded not guilty to the charge. Magistrate Fabayo Azore adjourned the matter until March 21st and remanded the man to prison.
Two other men, Renard Khan and a La Cruz (surname) were in November 2017 charged and remanded to prison fr the robbery.
In a previous report the Police had said that Anderson had left his home with a large quantity of cash in his possession. He then proceeded to a city bank to make a withdrawal.
After completing the transaction, Anderson was proceeding along Church Street, Georgetown, when his vehicle was struck by a silver Toyota Spacio motor car. As a result, he stepped out of the vehicle to inspect the damage, and he was pounced upon by two armed occupants of the other car. The men relieved him of the parcel containing the money that was in his car and made good their escape.
