Thanks to a response from my colleague Alfred Bhulai to your columnist, my attention was drawn to this issue. I only want to point readers’ attention to one of the greatest Christian apologists of all time – Ravi Zacharias.
He has destroyed this argument supposedly exposing God’s lack of omnipotence long ago in his question and answer sessions after presentations.
He uses the terminology and frame of reference of the Oxford and Cambridge philosophers and refers to the history of the propositions. He has demoted these arguments to the category in which they belong ‒ specious.
I cannot place the specific Youtube video in which he demolishes this argument but would commend Ravi’s videos to anyone who is interested. They are worth the while listening to while you search.
