Enmore Community Center Cricket Club (ECCCC) completed their first tour of Trinidad and Tobago recently five years since the club’s revival, walking away with two wins in four matches.
Enmore, who last toured Trinidad in 1978, came up against Exchange Sports Club in their first contest, a T20 affair, and crashed to a 33-run defeat.
Exchange SC batted first posting 148 for 9 with Nigel Boodhoo scoring an unbeaten 38 with four fours and two sixes.
Chris Surat, Chaitram Ramlall, Satesh Jainarine and Yuvraj Dyal took two wickets each and Ranjeet Hiralall one for ECCCC.
In reply, Enmore were restricted to 115 for nine. Veerasammy Moonsammy top scored with 24 while Surat added 20.
Amelia Kaheera picked up 3-22 with Christopher Vincent and Anderson Phillip taking two wickets each.
In their next encounter, Enmore roared to a 105-run victory over Old Mac Exchange SC in a 30-overs-a-side encounter.
Batting first, Enmore posted 218 for nine. Rudolph Singh smashed five fours and two sixes in 57 while B. Ramkelawan made a quick-fire 47 from just 22 balls.
In reply, Old Mac were dismissed for 113 inside 23 overs with Singh taking five wickets on the way to the best bowler, best batsman and man of the match awards.
Enmore then took on Couva Masters in a 10 over windball match, winning by six runs in the super over.
Couva posted 88 which Enmore did well to equal but when Enmore batted first in the super over they smashed 14 runs then limited Couva to eight.
Couva rebounded in the second match to win by one wicket, chasing down 78 set by Enmore.

The Enmore squad of 34 persons, included 10 players under the age of 24.
