Ralph Green, sponsor of the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) Under-11 League, made a timely donation of equipment to Diamond Upsetters Football Club on Tuesday.
The equipment included shin guards, two sets of bibs, two sets of cones, as well as a soccer clipboard board for the coach and a whistle.
Accepting the donation on behalf of the club at the Diamond Community Centre ground was Club President Andre Fortune.
In brief remarks, Fortune declared, “Our club is heartened by this donation from you Mr. Green, it will go a long way in encouraging the players to work even more hard to develop and excel in the sport.”
He further added, “We wish you God’s continued blessings and would also like to commend you for sponsoring the Under-11 competition which is the first competition we have competed in as a club.”
Green during brief comment, wished the club continued success and promised to continue his support to the institution in the future.
