Kyle Edghill will come up against Jamal Nicholas while Elishaba Johnson will battle against Nickolus Romain in the Under21 semi-finals of the Forbes Burnham Memorial table tennis tournament which began yesterday at the Guyana National Gymnasium, yesterday.
Edghill came from a set down to defeat Terrence Rausch 3 sets to one in their quarterfinal match while Nicholas served his way past Miguel Wong in straight sets.
The other matches saw Johnson defeating Nevaeh Clarkson 3-1 while Romain saw off Jonathan Van Lange by a similar margin.
The memorial games will continue today with the conclusion of ‘C’ class category while the highly anticipated ‘B’ class category is set to commence today.
