A Moruca man was on Tuesday remanded to prison on a charge that he raped a child.
Jeffers Blake was read the charge at an in-camera hearing in Georgetown.
It is alleged that on March 6th, 2018, at Moruca Village, Blake engaged in sexual activity with a child
The man, who appeared before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs, was not required to plead to the indictable charge.
Magistrate Isaacs subsequently remanded Blake to prison and adjourned the matter until March 27th.
