Traditional West Demerara heavyweight Pouderoyen FC, will commence their pre-season two day Region Three tour against Henrietta United tomorrow.
Pouderoyen will faceoff with Henrietta United at 16:00hrs, before concluding their tour against the same opposition on Sunday at the same time slot. Both matches will be held at the Anna Regina Community Centre ground.
Travis Best, Coach of Pouderoyen FC said, “It is something that been in the making for a while between myself and Technical Development Officer Trevin Bowen of Essequibo. We have been successful to pull off this tour and Poudeoryen is very optimistic and confident at the same time of winning the two game series.”
According to Best, “This is also being done to build camaraderie between the players and it has been at least 15 years since he club has ventured out of West Demerara on a project like this.”
“Some of the players that will be featuring are Alex Softleigh, Sebastian Edwards, Keon Marcus, Kobe Kingston, Stephon Jupiter, Devin Gaskin and Shoy Thom. Also, Golden Jaguars International Trayon Bobb will also be a part of the travelling contingent” he added.
