The semifinal round of the sixth annual Milo Secondary Schools U18 football tournament will commence today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
In the opening match, Buxton Youth Developers will oppose Annandale Secondary from 15:30hrs while the second fixture pits Sir Leon Lessons against Lodge Secondary at 17:30hrs.
Lodge Secondary earned their place in the semi-final round after it was discovered that Pure Masters fielded an ineligible player during their quarterfinal match.
“Please be informed that a protest was made against Pure Masters Academy by Lodge Secondary School of which the Pure Master Academy was found guilty of playing a player under the name of another player and as such the protest was upheld,” a release from the tournament coordinator, the Petra Organization, stated.
