Banks DIH Limited hosted its Annual Senior Citizen Luncheon on Sunday at Thirst Park where over 600 persons including pensioners from the Company and members of benevolent organisations attended.In delivering the feature address, Clifford Reis, Chairman/Managing Director said senior citizens should be shown more love and care, a release from the company said.“It is always our privilege to welcome you to Thirst Park for this Annual Luncheon and we will continue to support such programmes that cater for the less fortunate in our society as we demonstrate our love and care to you today”, he added.Reis added “We have embarked on a programme of strengthening relationships we enjoy with our key stakeholders and we have been travelling across the country to meet with our shareholders and friends. Our coming together today represents just another facet of that journey of relationships.”The annual luncheon is part of the Company Corporate Social Responsibility programme and provided for the Company’s pensioners, members and residents of the Guyana Red Cross Society, Salvation Army, David Rose Centre, Guyana Legion, Guyana Society for the Blind, Guyana Association for the Visually Impaired, Uncle Eddies’ Home, Archer’s Home and St. Vincent de Paul Home among other organisations.
