KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – Guyana and Jamaica remained unbeaten while title-holders Barbados notched their maiden win, in the second round of the Regional Under-15 Championship here Thursday.
Playing at Melbourne Oval, Jamaica defeated Leeward Islands by 79 runs, to follow up their victory in Wednesday’s opening round.
Opting to bat first, they were dismissed for 148 in the 43rd over with middle order batsman Jonathan Rampersaud keeping the innings together with a top score of 69.
Guyana were floundering at 21 for four before Rampersaud posted 70 for the fifth wicket with Nicholas Rajpat (17).
