This bus shed, located at the junction of UG road and the East Coast Highway, intended to provide shelter from the harsh elements, is now a home to two vagrants, hammock and all. It had been renovated by Metro some years back. As photographed above, a hammock has been slung within the confines of the structure, which has also been littered heavily. UG students and others are unable to use the shed. One vagrant has lived there for years and was recently joined by another. It appears that the social services agencies have not attempted to address this matter by finding alternative accommodation for the vagrants.
