(Barbados Nation) Police have made a breakthrough in their investigations into the unnatural death of Shayne Welch on Monday, March 26.
Twenty-six-year-old Applon Ishmael Parris of Taitt Road, Brittons Hill, St. Michael, was arrested and formally charged with the murder of the police constable and appeared in the Oistins’ Magistrate’s Court yesterday morning.
Parris was also charged with assault to prevent lawful apprehension, malicious communication and burglary.
The Royal Barbados Police Force extended their thanks to the general public for offering information and continued support which assisted in this and several other matters under investigation.
