Customers owing the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) in excess of 100 days are being warned of disconnection within a few days, according to the company’s Managing Director Dr Richard Van West-Charles.
At a meeting arranged for editors at the GWI head office in Georgetown to bring clarity to a number of issues related to the supply of water to the general populace, Van West-Charles said, GWI needs its revenue to carry out its work of supplying potable water to everyone.
