Beterverwagting (BV)/Triumph, Ann’s Grove and Buxton United recorded lopsided victories when the East Coast Demerara section in the Frank Watson Memorial U15 Football League continued yesterday.
Played at the Golden Grove ground, BV Triumph defeated Buxton Stars 14-1 with Omari Glasgow smashed a helmet trick in the 29th, 30th, 33rd and 60th minute while Tyrese Dennis added a hat-trick in the fourth, seventh and 42nd minute.
Samuel Garnett also scored three times in the 14th, 43rd and 58th minute.
Assisting with goals in the 50th, 56th and 59th minute respectively were Tiquan Taylor, Jerome Robinson and Delon Harry. Adding to the score in the 16th minute was an own goal.
For Buxton Stars, Jaheem Allicock netted in the 30th minute.
In another fixture, Ann’s Grove downed Golden Stars 4-0.
Mark Wilson recorded a double in the eighth and 50th minute while Jaden Van Groningen Yohance Francis scored in the 29th and 38th apiece.
Buxton United defeated Mahaica Determinators 2-0. Makhaya Jarvis and Anyika Headley scored in the 18th and 35th minute correspondingly.
Meanwhile, Friendship and Diamond Upsetters secured convincing wins over Diamond United and Samatta Point/Kaneville respectively in the East Bank Demerara zone at the Timehri Ground.
Friendship crushed Diamond United 5-0. Marlon Dey fashioned a hat-trick in the 17th, 48th and 51st minute, while Shane Argyle added a double in the 33rd and 36th minute.
Similarly, Diamond Upsetters dismissed Samatta Point/Kaneville 3-1. Jamal Thomas recorded a brace in the 11th and 45th minute, while Winston Goodridge scored in the 55th minute.
For the losing team, Kenyon Moe netted in the 40th minute. In the East Coast Demerara section, Ann’s Grove mauled Golden Stars 4-0.
