Bent Street will oppose Sparta Boss in the final of the Petra Organization Futsal Championship following semi-final wins on Saturday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Bent Street edged Leopold Street 6-5. Job Caesar recorded a double in the 23rd and 25th minute while Ryan Hackett, Kelsey Benjamin, Pernell Schultz and Andrew Murray Jr., scored in the seventh, eighth, 10th and 28th minute respectively.
For Leopold Street, Omallo Williams fashioned a hat-trick in the 14th, 19th and 29thminute while Eon Alleyne bagged a brace in the 18th and 24th minute.
In the other semi-final, Sparta Boss needled Alpha Warriors 5-4. Jeremy Garrett crafted a hat-trick in the 10th, 18th and 28th minute while Jermaine Junior and Gregory `Jackie Chan’ Richardson netted in the first and eighth minute respectively.
For Alpha Warriors, Daniel Favorite netted twice in the ninth and 23rd minute, while Sheldon Holder and Vurlon Mills scored in the 10th and 14th minute respectively. The tournament concludes Saturday at the same venue.
