The Commercial Registry on the Avenue of the Republic was closed yesterday until further notice due to “technical difficulties”, according to a sign posted at its Avenue of the Republic office. Stabroek News understands that the issue is electrical in nature. However, the Land Registry on the bottom flat of the former New Building Society headquarters is open for business.
