The Bishops’ High, President’s College and Plaisance schools all won their matches in the U16 division of the Youth Basketball Guyana (YBG) ‘Regional Conference’ on Friday.
The Bishops’ High mauled Queen’s College 42-17 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
Timothy Richmond recorded a double-double of 22 points and 13 rebounds while Keron Bacchus added 10 points and six rebounds.
Lugard Mohan Jr., scored 11 points and had nine rebounds and eight steals for Queen’s College.
Meanwhile, President’s College downed St. Rose’s High 23-18.
Gabriel Lim scored 15 points and had six rebounds and four steals while Kahil Farrington tallied nine points and 13 rebounds in the loss.
Plaisance edged North Georgetown 18-16. Trion Hendricks top scored with 10 points for the winners. For North Georgetown, Craig Harlequin netted 10 points.
