Victory Valley Royals and Ravens scored convincing wins heading into the semi-finals of the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) ‘Road to Mecca’ Club championships Saturday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
Victory Valley Royals made light work of Amelia’s Ward Jets 104-89. Daniel Lee and Orlan Glasgow netted 23 and 22 points while .
Harold Adams, Chris Williams and Lionel Warden scored 17, 14 and 11 points respectively.
For the Jets, Adrian Webster tallied 23 points and Donnell Benjamin and Chris Gill 16 and 13 points respectively.
Similarly, Ravens clawed past Canje Knights 91-64. Dominic Vicente led the way with 20 points while Ralph Brown, Ryan Stephney, Darcel Harris and Sebastian Luke added 16, 12, 12 and 11 points each.
For Knights, Linden Joseph and Jamal Felix scored 14 and 12 points respectively. Meanwhile, Pacesetters crushed Nets 93-71.
Nathan Saul top scored with 19 points while Joslyn Crawford added 15 points.
For Nets, Yannick Felix recorded 19 points while Pelham Doris and Jeffrey Williams added nine and eight points each.
Also, Plaisance Guardians dismissed Retrieve Raiders 97-61. Akeem Crandon top scored with 21 points while Nikoloi Smith supported with 18 points.
Adding eight points each were Jared Sears and Kwame Fox. For Raiders, Sean Muss and Selwyn Henry scored 22 and 18 points respectively.
