I must immediately apologise for providing you with substantial misinformation in relation to the vacancies as notified in the Teaching Service Notice of April 8, 2018.
In my hasty blindness I inexplicably misread the numbers which in fact represented the number of each Region (without it being clearly indicated). Teachers of course would have easily understood. My respects to Mr Cave. It was an unforgivable faux pas.
Notwithstanding, it should be of interest to view the incidence of vacancies from a ‘Regional’ perspective so to speak – to see whether the numbers provide any pause for reflection. (The bolded figures show the comparatively more outstanding depletions in the respective groupings.)
With apologies to the Ministry of Education, and to the press for providing space for ‘faked facts’.
