Patrick ‘Pat’ Holder, one of Guyana’s most renowned sport figures was laid to rest yesterday.
Holder, one of the pioneers of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC), died on Wednesday following health complications. The former cyclists, biker and powerboat racer was 84.
Holder who held the top post at the GMR&SC was also a benefactor for numerous sports disciplines. He will be missed by the local sports
fraternity.
