The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Commission of Inquiry (COI) into the sexual harassment of female referees by match officials and administrators has gotten underway, with several female referees testifying before the five member panel.
Although the inquiry got off to a poor start on March 24th at the Olympic House, Liliendaal following a no-show by referees, sources close to the inquiry disclosed that several refs have given testimony on their experiences.
According to the sources, “Roughly about eight females have given testimony on their respective experiences and it is basically the same sentiments were expressed about the harassment experienced and the incompetence of the officials.
