Dear Editor,
I refer to the two-page spread on pages 16 and 17 of your Friday edition. Seems to me that the APNU+AFC Coalition is giving itself a massive pat on the back, courtesy of taxpayer dollars. I am certain there are members of the various coalition parties who were disgusted when taxpayer dollars were being used by the PPP/C for this purpose. Why then do they support the wastage now?
Secondly, I wonder how it would look if a rebuttal was published. Like point 15. Training opportunities for former GuySuCo workers after Government abruptly shuttered the estates and placed them on the bread line. Or point 25. Georgetown cleaned and restored and then left to rot again while almost weekly cleaning is done around the President’s office. Or point 49. 4G internet launched by private companies but we’ll take credit anyway.
There is even duplication in points 3 & 11, and points 81 & 180. And one point being split between 37 and 38. Not in the mood to look for more.
Yours faithfully,
