Dear Editor,
I have a suggestion that would help the government make some money. I suggest that they make the double road in Providence (Remigrant Scheme) a toll road. This road is a very busy road for drivers who want to avoid the traffic on the public road.
As a results of the overuse of this road, it’ll soon be destroyed by the bush-trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles.
Therefore, I am recommending that the government charge a toll on heavy-duty vehicles using this road.
To do so, the government will have to build a toll booth. Charging a toll will reduce the number of heavy-duty vehicles using the road, and it’ll generate income to repair the road.
Yours faithfully,
