Beterverwagting (BV) Secondary advanced to the next round after a thrilling day of events that saw them winning a toss to advance in the Regional Democratic Council (RDC)/Devcon Construc-tion/Regional Executive Officer (REO) Region Four Inter-Secondary schools knockout competition yesterday at the Everest Cricket Club ground, Camp Road.
Originally set for the Enmore Community Centre ground, the match was shifted to Everest because of rainfall.
The match, a 35-overs-a-side, two innings format, saw Lancaster Secondary batting first, declaring after 20 overs at 140-5 while BV were 74-8 after 10 overs.
