An ad appeared in yesterday’s Sunday Stabroek advising that the GPSCCU will be hosting an Outreach on Friday, June 1.
Editor, in view of the recent action by the Chief Co-ops Officer against GPSCCU, I am wondering would the Outreach still take place?
The message which seems to be emanating from the Twin Island Republic on the hijab issue and the ensuing tongue lashing and ridicule of a public figure is that Muslims and Hindus cannot co-exist and interface with each other peacefully and respectfully. If this is so then religious intolerance, in this 21st Century, has reached a new low.
