PhotosPast student remembers his schoolBy David Papannah June 9, 2018 DEMCAR Communications and Marketing Inc., a United Kingdom/Guyana-based online company yesterday donated two computer systems to the Agricola Industrial Arts Centre. In photo, Colin Beckles (left), a past student and now a United Kingdom-based Guyanese and co-proprietor of the company, makes the presentation to the school’s Principal Deborah Parker. During the simple presentation ceremony, Beckles charged the students to use the computer systems to advance their studies, to push themselves and grab every opportunity which is presented to them. The donations were made possible through the company’s foundation, KIDS NEED DADDY (KNDY), which has the goal of ensuring that everything possible is done to alleviate poverty and to provide sustainable livelihoods for young people, while placing special emphasis on young single mothers and their offspring.
