The Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF), has officially reduced their provisional Senior Men Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Squad to 15 players for impending Championship in Suriname.
The shortlisted squad reads Stanton Rose, Harold Adams, Orland Glasgow, Shane Webster, Ray Victor, Anthony Moe, Travis Burnett, Felix Hamilton, Travis Belgrave, Denzel Devonish, Timothy Thompson, Akeem Crandon, Kevon Wiggins, Nikkoloi Smith and Terron Welch.
The team will commence training at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue from 7:00pm on weekdays, while the weekend practice sessions will be divided into two sections.
Morning training will start from 7:00am, while evening practice will commence at 7:00pm. The final squad is slated to be announced on Wednesday June 20th.
On the Management side, Junior Hercules serves as the Head-Coach, while Dennis Clarke will act in the capacity of Assistant Coach/Assistant Manager.
Jonas Anestal will serve as Physiotherapist and Physical Conditioner, with GABF President pegged as the Team’s Manager.
Guyana will depart local shores for the Dutch nation on Friday June 22nd, with the return date slated for July 1st. The event runs from June 22nd-30th.
Guyana features in group-A of the tournament, alongside host Suriname, St Lucia, Grenada and St Vincent and the Grenadines.
