Ficus Pumila commonly called Creeping Fig originated in East Asia: China, Japan and Vietnam.
It is a dense, rapid-growing vine with small, heart-shaped evergreen leaves.
This vine is best suited to cover open spaces like walls, latticework and arches.
However, like with any creeping plant, it can be extremely difficult to remove once it attaches itself to walls and latticework and can potentially damage the surface.
Creeping Fig makes great hanging baskets and attractive ground cover.
Plant Creeping Fig in well-drained soil. This plant likes to be kept moist, but not soggy. Pruning will be required to keep the plant looking fresh.
