Tucville, Chase Academy and Buxton earned quarterfinal berths when the ExxonMobil U14 Football Championship continued Saturday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Tucville made light work of Carmel 9-0. Rayheam Marques fashioned a helmet-trick in the third, 11th, 23rd and 24th minute.
Dwayne Kellman bagged a double in the fifth and 31st minute, while Garfield Caesar added two goals in the 14th and 37th minute.
Adding a second minute conversion was Shadrock Bishop. Similarly, Chase Academy schooled Uitvlugt 7-0. Kevin Mullin smashed a helmet-trick in the third, 29th, 30th and 40th minute.
He was assisted by goals from Jaleel Alcindor, Sean Cato and Joshua Daniel in the 25th, 26th and 36th minute respectively. Also Buxton drilled Ann’s Grove by an identical score line. Makhaya Jervis copped a hat-trick in the 29th, 32nd and 37th minute, while Samuel Garnett bagged a brace in the eighth and 10th minute.
Contributing goals in the ninth and 35th minute each were Tyrice Dennis and Ronald Howard. Meanwhile in the Girls Division, South Ruimveldt dismissed Tucville 5-1.
Amanda McKenzie bagged a hat-trick in the 12th, 18th and 22nd minute, while Latisha Sutherland and Angel Denny scored in the sixth and 16th minute each.
For the loser, Kixian London netted in the seventh minute. Also, Vergenoegen downed Uitvlugt 2-0. Janel Edmondson and Tia Lamaison scored in the ninth and 20th minute apiece.
