Tiger Bay and Linden unit Silver Bullets secured lopsided wins, when the 6th edition of the GT-Beer ‘Keep Ya Five Alive’ Streetball Championship, continued on Saturday at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
Tiger Bay mauled California Square 7-2. Orin Moore bagged a hat-trick in the fourth, sixth and 15th minute.
Adding two goals in the 16th and 24th minute was Deon Alfred, while James Meredith scored in the 21st and 25th minute respectively
For California Square, Meshach Barratt tallied a double in the 29th and 30th minute.
Similarly, Silver Bullets riddled Uprising 8-3. Clifford Halley tallied a hat-trick in the first, 29th and 38th minute.
He was aided by goals from Geshawn Freeman, Jamaine Samuels, Robin Adams, Damion Williams and Nigel Bennett in the 17th, 25th, 26th, 27th and 32nd minute respectively.
For the loser, K. Garrett netted twice in the 11th and 32nd minute, while S. Hunte added a goal in the fourth minute.
In other results, Sparta Boss dismissed Tucville 3-1. Also, Showstoppers, North East La Penitence and Ol Skool Ballers, defeated Buxton, Ann’s Grove and Beterwagting (BV) via respective walkovers.
